Knowing how much to borrow can be one of the most time consuming parts of applying for the Parent PLUS Loan. Thankfully, after receiving feedback from family and students about Parent PLUS Loan concerns, the Office of Student Aid has developed a new interactive tool to simplify this process. Parents can now enter their individualized financial information into the Interactive PLUS Loan Worksheet in the How to Create a Student Budget for the Parent PLUS Loan section of our Tutorials tab to get a clearer estimation of their borrowing needs. This tool takes the guess work out of calculating loan amounts and origination fees while also providing a planning tool to help in saving money.
