Hourly parking is available at East Parking Deck, HUB Parking Deck or the Nittany Parking Deck for $1.00 per hour from 7:30 a.m. to midnight. Guests also have the option of purchasing one-day parking permits for $8.00. The daily permits are available at the Penn State/Centre County Visitor Center, any information kiosk, or the Parking Office. The one-day parking pass can be used at East Parking Deck, Eisenhower Parking Deck, Lot Red A (near the IST Building along North Atherton Street) and Orange Lots. Hourly parking is not available at Eisenhower Parking Deck.
Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15
Guests are encouraged to park at East Parking Deck, Eisenhower Parking Deck*, Nittany Parking Deck, or Lot Red A (near the IST Building along North Atherton Street) at no charge. Shuttle service will be available from East Parking Deck and Nittany Parking Deck to the HUB-Robeson Center on Saturday morning. See shuttle information below.
*Eisenhower Parking Deck will have restricted parking 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. If you plan to arrive or depart campus during those times, please park elsewhere.
Parking in the resident student parking lots is strictly prohibited. These lots are reserved seven days a week, 24 hours a day for the exclusive use by students displaying the appropriate permit. Vehicles cannot be parked in handicapped spaces unless state issued ADA license plate or placard is present.
Please note that there may be regulated parking and a parking fee near the Bryce Jordan Center and Pegula Ice Arena due to events in these locations.
RV Parking
Overnight RV parking on campus is not permitted. However, guests may park their RV on campus throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday. RV parking will not be permitted on Friday. Guests are encouraged to park in Lot Porter North at Medlar Field or Lot Red A (near the IST Building). COURTESY SHUTTLE WILL BE OFFRED SATURDAY MORNING:
On Saturday, October 14, a courtesy shuttle will run from East Parking Deck and Nittany Parking Deck approximately every fifteen minutes beginning at 7:45 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. to transport guests to the HUB-Robeson Center. In order to make the 9:00 a.m. Penn State Welcome at the HUB-Robeson Center, guests should catch the 8:45 a.m. or earlier shuttle. The last shuttle will depart from East Parking Deck and Nittany Parking Deck at approximately 9:15 a.m. After the shuttle service has ended, we encourage family members to utilize the CATABUS service, the Blue Loop and the White Loop, to get around campus.
ON-CAMPUS CATABUS SERVICE:
Throughout the weekend, guests are encouraged to use the CATABUS Service to get around campus. Detailed information can be found on the CATA website, www.catabus.com under the Campus Service section. There is no fee for CATABUS service on campus.
