Hitting the road for Thanksgiving? Want to save a few extra bucks by driving others along the way or do you need to find a ride? Penn State Transportation Services has partnered with Zimride to make it easy to catch a ride or fill the empty seats in your car.
What is Penn State Zimride?
Zimride is Penn State's private ride-matching network that matches you with other students, faculty and staff who are going the same way, allowing you an easy way to share the seats in your car or catch a ride.
Who Can Use This Site?
Penn State requires a valid Penn State WebAccess ID and password to join Zimride. Once you have created your profile, you can choose which Penn State campus you go to.
Have a Car? Need a Ride?
Penn State Zimride helps you offer or request rides for commutes, road trips, and popular events. If you have a car, split costs by offering rides. If you don't have a car, find rides where you need to go.
What Do I Need to Know to Use Penn State Zimride?
All students, faculty and staff are advised to carefully read the Zimride Terms of Service and to be sure they can fully abide by the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement before participating in this service. By participating you acknowledge that neither Pennsylvania State University nor Zimride are responsible for the safety, comfort, successful travel arrangements, failed travel arrangements, personal belongings, or for any other liability with regard to your travel arrangements or the use of this system. Use caution when sharing contact or personal information. Never travel with someone you don't trust.
