Dear Elshadie, thank you for your message. I'm Ryan and I work in the Admissions Office at Penn State York. Approximately 10% of our students live in off-campus housing typically near campus. I believe it depends on the student if they are ready to live off-campus so I think that is a decision the family needs to make with their student. While we cannot recommend apartments, we suggest students look at options in the area to find what is going to be the best fit for them and where they feel safe.
