Very well articulated indeed and bears a lot of reflection to most Senior’s parents.
However, as a parent of an international Senior the anxieties and emotions are doubled. The long flights and preparations for studying abroad and assimilation into a totally new environment and culture is unimaginable yet so adventurous. Anxieties spread to whether one has made a right choice in all this. Luckily my daughter attended an international School previously and did her IB away from home in a boarding school which in many aspects helped a great deal.
As a Senior in her last year we laugh and wonder where time has flown. She has matured into a lovely 21 year old who has assimilated and settled well in the new culture with new knowledge from this great University. It was a great choice and I share no regrets as a parent.
