Is your student taking classes this summer? They can learn to student smarter, not harder.

How can your student better monitor their learning so that they don't waste time and effort on ineffective study strategies? Your student can answer this question by attending the Study Smarter workshop offered by Penn State Learning and presented by one of our trained peer-tutors. This interactive workshop presents research-based evidence that metacognition (awareness of how you learn and the predictable effects of the related choices you make) can help students successfully transition to the demands of college-level courses. How the brain stores information will be looked at and six strategies that are most effective to the learning process will be demonstrated. In addition, students are given examples of how to apply these strategies to their current classes. Encourage your student to attend one of our upcoming workshop sessions and be on their way to more effective and efficient studying! Get workshop Zoom links at: https://pennstatelearning.psu.edu/
